My fiancé and I are planning our honeymoon and thinking about going all-inclusive. Budget is around $5-7k for a week. Any recommendations? We love beaches but also want some activities.

SANDALS IS NOT THE ONLY OPTION. My wife and I just got back from Excellence Playa Mujeres and holy shit. Worth every penny. The food was actually good (rare for all-inclusive), adults only, and the service was insane. Our butler Miguel was a legend.

Actual ranking of best all-inclusive honeymoon spots (been to all of them):
- Maldives (if you can afford it)
- St. Lucia (Jade Mountain specifically)
- Riviera Maya
- Jamaica
- Antigua

Haven’t seen anyone mention this yet, but if you’re planning a honeymoon, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD don’t book these months:
- September (hurricanes)
- Spring break weeks
- Christmas/New Years (unless you enjoy paying triple)
